Pay Rate: £16.50 per hour (enhanced weekend rate available)

Start Date: 28/10/2026 End Date 28/11

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts across a 7-day operation

• 05:00 - 13:00
• 13:00 - 21:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Supervisor to support a military operation based in Gosport. This is a temporary position requiring a hands-on individual who can assist the Manager with the day-to-day running of site operations and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Manager with daily operational activities.
• Ensure the right people are allocated to the right roles and work areas.
• Monitor staff performance and confirm workers are carrying out the correct duties.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure all resources, equipment and personnel are in place.
• Liaise with staff on-site and provide day-to-day support and guidance.
• Check and monitor stock levels of sundries and consumable items.
• Work from provided checklists to ensure all operational requirements are completed.
• Maintain control of responsibilities and ensure site standards are consistently met.
• Escalate any issues, shortages, or operational concerns as required.

Requirements

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes and checklists.
• Flexible approach to working shifts across a 7-day operation.
• Due to the location and shift start times, candidates should have their own transport or live within easy commuting distance of Gosport.
• Free parking is available on site.
