Pay Rate:

• £13.50 per hour (05:00 - 13:00 shift)
• £15.00 per hour (13:00 - 21:00 shift and weekends)

Start Date: 08/11/2026 End Date 20/11

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts across a 7-day operation

• 05:00 - 13:00
• 13:00 - 21:00

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for Front of House Assistants to support a military operation based in Gosport. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring food service areas are well presented and supporting the smooth operation of catering facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a professional and friendly manner.
• Maintain clean and tidy dining and service areas.
• Replenish food, beverages and service stations as required.
• Assist with setting up and clearing service areas.
• Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
• Work closely with kitchen and catering teams to ensure efficient service.
• Complete daily duties and checks as instructed by supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous catering, hospitality or FOH experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional and approachable manner.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible approach to working shifts across a 7-day operation.
• Due to the location and shift start times, candidates should have their own transport or live within easy commuting distance of Gosport.
• Free parking is available on site.
