Salary: £35,000 + bonus

Hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-16:30

Join a leading UK supplier of confined space and site safety equipment as an experienced Service Engineer to act as the technical specialist for the workshop, supporting service delivery, compliance, and team development.

Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Lead on inspections, servicing, repairs, and calibration of safety-critical equipment.
  • Ensure all work meets manufacturer standards, legislation, and quality requirements.
  • Provide hands-on diagnostics, fault-finding, and technical support.
  • Mentor engineers and trainees, supporting skills development and competency.
  • Conduct quality checks and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records in Syrinx and support hire/sales order processing.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on technical matters.
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for onsite servicing.
