Using your MIG, TIG, and MMA welding experience, you'll work on both carbon and stainless-steel pipework and pressure vessels, following detailed engineering drawings and weld procedures to deliver high-quality, customer-specific solutions.
Your tasks may include marking out, plasma cutting, grinding, and drilling, alongside inspecting and maintaining weld quality throughout. - Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and MMA welds on carbon and stainless-steel pipework and pressure vessels, ensuring all work meets welding standards and customer specifications.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and weld procedures to accurately fabricate bespoke components.
- Carry out marking out, plasma cutting, oxyacetylene cutting, grinding, and drilling as part of the fabrication process.
- Maintain welding quality throughout production, conducting visual checks and reporting any defects or inconsistencies.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) standards and actively promote a safe working environment.
- Operate and set up shop floor machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and daily production plans.
- Use overhead pendant cranes safely to move materials and finished fabrications around the workshop.
