The role of CQC Registered Manager involves the day-to-day leadership of a domiciliary care service that provides person-centred support to adults living independently in their own homes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care services
- Leading, developing and supporting a dedicated care team
- Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements and relevant legislation
- Creating and reviewing care plans, risk assessments and care documentation
- Managing audits, inspections and reporting requirements
- Supporting service growth while maintaining high standards of care
- Training, mentoring and developing future leaders within the business
- Participating in a shared on-call rota and providing hands-on support when required
This position offers significant autonomy alongside the support of an established leadership team and robust operational systems.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care, home care or community care services
- Strong knowledge of CQC standards, care compliance and safeguarding procedures
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards achieving it
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance and drive service quality
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
