Meridian Business Support is delighted to be supporting our FE client in their search for a part time teacher of computing at their Greater Manchester site. We are looking for an experienced teacher who can bring a student first, creative, fun and exciting approach to teaching and learning in the classroom.
The successful applicant will be able to evidence the below:
- Skills and Knowledge:
- Teach across Computing, T-Levels and Access to HE Computing, with a strong background in Python programming language.
- Technical expertise in additional programming languages and possess an understanding of BTEC.
- Knowledge of Matrix Algebra.
- Knowledge of Networking and Security.
- Ability to utilise new technologies to engage, inspire and excite students in the subject area.
Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed).
- A good honours degree in a relevant subject discipline or significant experience within the IT industry.
