Staffordshire STaRs are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber to join their Substance Misuse service. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse while working as part of a passionate and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical interventions for service users accessing substance misuse services
- Prescribe for both Alcohol and Opiate Substitution Treatments
- Conduct clinical reviews of prescribed service users
- Run independent clinics following induction
- Apply knowledge of BBVs, NSP, detox and rehab pathways
Requirements:
- NMC registered Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)
- Experience working within drug and alcohol services
- Full UK driving licence (essential travel across Staffordshire required)
- Familiarity with Illy data systems (training provided if required)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage caseloads confidently
