Hours: Full-time, 09:00 - 17:00

Duration: 12 Weeks

Pay Rate:

  • Day: £22.76/hr
  • Night/Saturday: £29.59/hr
  • Sunday/Bank Holiday: £36.42/hr

Staffordshire STaRs are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber to join their Substance Misuse service. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by drug and alcohol misuse while working as part of a passionate and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver clinical interventions for service users accessing substance misuse services
  • Prescribe for both Alcohol and Opiate Substitution Treatments
  • Conduct clinical reviews of prescribed service users
  • Run independent clinics following induction
  • Apply knowledge of BBVs, NSP, detox and rehab pathways

Requirements:

  • NMC registered Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)
  • Experience working within drug and alcohol services
  • Full UK driving licence (essential travel across Staffordshire required)
  • Familiarity with Illy data systems (training provided if required)
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage caseloads confidently
