Responsibilities of the role
- The role is to provide a safe, evidence-based clinical recovery-focusedprescribing service for people who use alcohol and/or substances, deliveringNon-medical prescribing sessions daily Monday to Friday.
- Delivery of regular Independent NMP clinics weekly depending on the service need
- Provide expert support to new NMPs and all prescribing, nursing and recovery staff
- To support the development of non-medical prescribing countywide with the Clinical Lead
- Provision of healthcare treatments and procedures (including health screening, blood borne virus screening) for people accessing our service in line with the public health and wellbeing agenda
- Support and train staff in substance use disorder and alcohol related disorders
- To provide clinical supervision on a monthly basis to staff in the absence of Clinical Lead
- To line manage nursing/recovery staff as required
- To deputise for the Clinical Lead in their absence
Requirements and additional information
- Band 7 – NMP
- Full Time
- Hours: 09:00 17:00
- Location Across Staffordshire
- Experience in drug/alcohol
- Essential driving licence
