The predicted salary is between 39000 - 51000 £ per year.
Meridian requires a permanent full-time Multi Trader for a large static site in Battersea (high-end residential apartments) with a salary of £45,000 per annum. The working hours are Thursday to Monday from 8am to 5pm, with every Tuesday and Wednesday off. Overtime is available at x1.5, along with discretionary annual bonuses and awards for exceptional performers. Development, cross-training, and exposure to other roles are also provided.
The Multi Trader will be responsible for working in shared residential spaces within the development, including:
- Entrance halls, foyers, and reception areas
- Stairwells, landings, and corridors
- Car parks, gates, and external pathways
- Bin stores, refuse areas, and laundry rooms
- Communal facilities
Duties will include:
- Carpentry repairs to doors and windows
- Basic locksmith works - repairs/adjustment of door closers and locks
- Roofing, guttering, drainage maintenance and repair
- Small scale decoration works including flooring installation
- Carrying out security inspections and operations as required and reporting defects
- Installing signage
- Health & Safety inspections and activities to assist in keeping the development and workplace a safe environment for all
- Ensuring all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and reporting any issues or requirements for replacement
- Completing all necessary documentation and time logs accurately and on time
- Working collaboratively with other maintenance staff, estate managers, and contractors when required
Criteria:
- Previous related maintenance experience in a multi-trader role, ideally within high-end residential or hotel environments
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in interior/exterior repair
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements within a building environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to deal with a range of people at all levels
