This permanent role offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule, from 8am to 4pm, with the added perk of an early finish on a rota basis every Friday. As a Stores Person, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the stores department. Your responsibilities will include receiving and inspecting goods against purchase orders, mechanical drawings, and component specifications. You will also be involved in picking, packing, and dispatching goods, as well as maintaining control of materials within the department.
- Receiving, booking, and inspecting goods
- Correctly labelling and storing goods
- Kit picking and material issuing
- Packing and labelling finished goods
- Conducting inventory counts and stock rotation
- Dispatching finished items promptly
- Producing all necessary export documentation
- Maintaining accurate stock levels in both physical and MRP systems
