We are currently looking for a Factory QA Operative to join our clients Quality team. This is a hands-on role working across the factory to ensure food safety, quality standards, and processes are consistently followed.
The Role
You will work closely with production teams across all units, supporting them to meet quality and food safety requirements. You will carry out audits, monitor standards, provide coaching where needed, and escalate any risks to ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out process audits including GMP, fabrication, foreign body, CCP, glass & hard plastic audits
- Verify and audit production paperwork for accuracy and completion
- Coach and support production staff to ensure correct processes and competency levels
- Escalate food safety or quality concerns through the correct channels
- Complete CCP and allergen validations
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are completed on time
- Assist with traceability exercises and internal, customer, BRC, and third-party audits
- Complete routine site checks including hygiene, fridge and water temperature monitoring
- Carry out equipment checks and complete relevant documentation
- Help ensure the site remains audit-ready at all times
What We're Looking For
- Numerate and literate with good written and spoken English
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator and team player
- Positive attitude with a proactive approach
- Internal Auditor experience (preferred)
- Previous food manufacturing or QA experience desirable
