Job Description Catering Engineer Meridian are working with a well-established and growing M&E contractor originallyfrom the North-west, who have an established team of M&E engineers in the Oxford and surroundingregion which is now once again growing. This role will involve installation, servicing, and maintenance of commercial and domestic catering equipment in the region. Immediate start available (subject to successful application process)\n ~ Company van and supporting fuel card \n ~ Additional earning potential including extra hours, overtime, and weekend work \n ~ 40-hour working week Monday - Friday, with additional overtime sometimes available depending on the job \n ~ Company pension and holiday allowance scheme \n ~ Additional training and upskilling available, with many examples of company progression \Relevant M&E qualifications such as: NVQ, CSCS or JIB card, City & Guilds, F-Gas/ACS Gas etc. \COMCAT or ACS Gas and Appliance qualifications \n Experience working on catering equipment and appliances e.govens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and air conditioning systems \n Experience working off FM or building services apps such as CAFM systems and Ostara \n Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and electrical wiring diagrams essential for accurate diagnostics. \Full UK Driving Licence \n Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all catering equipment, including ovens, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and air conditioning systems \n Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimise downtime and ensure continuous operation \n Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot complex systems effectively \n Lead maintenance tasks by coordinating with team members or contractors during construction or installation projects related to catering facilities \n Oversee the upkeep of air conditioning units and other climate control systems to maintain optimal working conditions \n Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment history for compliance and future reference \n nIf you're looking for a role as a Catering Engineer in a growing team, then please apply directly to the advert or email for more information\n \nMeridian Business Support is a recruitment specialist acting on behalf of our client as an Employment Agency for this vacancy.\
