Accountable to the Operations Manager for the day-to-day servicing of our Aerospace client base and partners. Ensuring that procedures are followed, profits are maximised, and trade is developed through relationship building. Working closely with the UK Head of Aerospace and UK Aerospace Commercial Manager to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Aerospace growth through maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Support UK Head of Aerospace and UK Aerospace Commercial Manager
- Management of business from inception to completion
- Select appropriate airlines and carriers to maximise freight profits
- Manage your own time to best efficiency for the business
- Raise and follow up quotations to clients
- Servicing out of hours client requirements alongside existing team

Financial Responsibilities
- Weekly close off
- Monthly management reporting in accordance with CML monthly timetable
- Management and maintenance of supplier costs
- Collect any immediate funds upfront
External Relationships
- Benchmark and monitor key suppliers, ensuring most cost-effective deal for Cardinal
- Benchmark and monitor the competition, ensuring Aerospace remain competitive
- Identify and establish relationships with key suppliers
- Identify and establish relationships with key clients
- Monitor and review the service provided by overseas agents
Strategic Responsibilities
- Together with the UK Head of Aerospace and UK Aerospace Commercial Manager, work towards continued growth and development of the Aerospace vertical within the Cardinal Partnership
- Identify and explore opportunities to expand the services offered
Skills Required
- Existing understanding of Aerospace industry and supply chain complexities
- Good knowledge of Aerospace customs formalities
- Multi modal (Air & Road essential, Ocean training offered if required)
