Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Back Shift) Location: EH48 2FB Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: 12 weeks- Temporary initially opportunity for Permanent Pay Rate: £12.38 per hour Working Hours: 12pm-8pm (5 days over 7 on 3 weekly rotating) Week 1 days off Thursday/Friday Week 2 days off Tuesday/Wednesday Week 3 days off Monday/Saturday/Sunday Hours may vary and overtime may be required Join a fast-paced distribution centre as a Warehouse Operative! Main duties: * Unloading deliveries and checking them against order forms or invoices * Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently * Working in a cold environment- Chilled/Refrigerated area * Operate barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking. * Verifying that the orders picked and packed match the customer’s specifications, checking for any discrepancies, damages, or missing items. * Handling heavy lifting as part of the job * Working as part of a supportive team Key Skills: * Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting * Being able to prioritize tasks, stay organized, and keep track of orders * Efficiently managing time ensures that tasks are completed promptly. * Reliable and able to work the rotating shift pattern * Good attention to detail * Previous warehouse experience Apply Today!
