An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Dordon, Tamworth has become available and we are currently looking for multiple HGV Class 1 night drivers for ongoing work.

The role will entail and not be limited to:

  • Making deliveries & collections nationwide of automotive parts to secure locations (up to a maximum of 15 drops per route, multiple drops in the same location)
  • Handling roll cage, loose items and some palletised goods
  • Conducting vehicle checks pre and post-shift
  • Use of PDA handhelds for deliveries
  • Key holding for delivery locations

Benefits & Pay for the right HGV Class 1 night driver:

  • Night Rate - £19.50ph
  • Block bookings in advance
  • Start times between 21:30-23:30 Monday to Friday nights
  • No weekends or bank holidays
  • Site is based in Dordon with easy access from the M42 Junction 10

To be considered for this HGV Class 1 night driver role you will need:

  • Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
  • Minimum 6 months C+E driving experience
  • Valid Tachograph and DQC cards
  • Clean driving license (desirable)
  • Experience in a similar role (desirable)
  • Able to successfully complete client driving assessment
  • Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
