An exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious national clients based in Dordon, Tamworth has become available and we are currently looking for multiple HGV Class 1 night drivers for ongoing work.
The role will entail and not be limited to:
- Making deliveries & collections nationwide of automotive parts to secure locations (up to a maximum of 15 drops per route, multiple drops in the same location)
- Handling roll cage, loose items and some palletised goods
- Conducting vehicle checks pre and post-shift
- Use of PDA handhelds for deliveries
- Key holding for delivery locations
Benefits & Pay for the right HGV Class 1 night driver:
- Night Rate - £19.50ph
- Block bookings in advance
- Start times between 21:30-23:30 Monday to Friday nights
- No weekends or bank holidays
- Site is based in Dordon with easy access from the M42 Junction 10
To be considered for this HGV Class 1 night driver role you will need:
- Category C+E (held for minimum 2 years)
- Minimum 6 months C+E driving experience
- Valid Tachograph and DQC cards
- Clean driving license (desirable)
- Experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Able to successfully complete client driving assessment
- Friendly, professional and dedicated to great customer service
