We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Consultant to join our successful team based in Redditch. This high-performing team is looking for a Recruitment Consultant to further develop our engineering and technical desk. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who is ambitious, driven and looking to develop their recruitment career. We are open to applications from candidates with varying experience levels. The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of the engineering sector, even if no direct exposure to recruitment.

The job: You will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, focussing on both candidate and client acquisition, building relationships with organisations in the engineering sector. You will understand unique hiring requirements and supply talented candidates that meet client specifications.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Using a variety of methods to source candidates that meet client requirements
  • Arranging and attending client meetings to discuss their staffing solutions
  • Posting job adverts to attract and engage with candidates actively looking for work
  • Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of vacancies
  • Bringing on new clients, nurturing and maintaining existing relationships

Requirements:

  • Due to the nature of the role, a full drivers licence is required
  • Comfortable speaking with candidates/clients both face to face and over the phone
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work toward KPIs and financial targets
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • A positive mentality and can-do attitude

Other information:

  • Location: Redditch
  • Base salary of £27,000 - £30,000 depending on experience
  • Uncapped commission scheme with the ability to earn up to 30% on billings
  • 32 days annual leave (including bank holidays) increasing by one day each year
  • Working hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
