The Role: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Process Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing processes within a designated production cell. Full cross-training will be provided. This role involves the production of sheet lead using a variety of machinery, including rolling mills, slitters, and saws, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily production targets in line with departmental requirements
- Identify, report, and escalate equipment faults or issues that could impact production
- Ensure all machinery and operating conditions are correctly set prior to manufacture
- Accurately record production output and other operational data as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times
- Adhere to all company systems, procedures, and health
