Salary: £31,991 + £7,997 shift allowance (Total £39,989)

Hours: 37 per week (3-shift rotation)

We are recruiting for a Forge Inspector on behalf of a leading manufacturing client. This role is key to ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency across forging and inspection operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect forged components, dies, and machined parts
  • Carry out hot and black forge inspections
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Use precision measuring equipment and perform numerical calculations
  • Support production targets, quality standards, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
  • Work flexibly across multiple inspection areas as required

Requirements:

  • Time-served engineer (HNC or equivalent)
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in quality inspection and manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and quality systems
  • Ability to work shifts and adapt to business needs

Desirable:
