Pay: £19.27 - £22.18 per hour

About the role:
Pertemps are proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers based at their busy Swindon Distribution Centre.
As an HGV 2 Driver, you'll play a key role in the Royal Mail network by trunking parcels and mail between depots nationwide. With minimal manual handling and shifts allocated a week in advance, this is a role that offers both stability and flexibility.

What you'll be doing
- Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles within the Royal Mail fleet
- Trunking parcels and mail between depots (no multi-drop)
- Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
- Ensuring compliance with WTD and drivers' hours regulations
- Carrying out necessary vehicle checks and completing digital tacho entries
What we need from you
- A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, held for at least 2 years with 180+ days' recent commercial driving experience (insurance requirement)
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Maximum of 5 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements)
- Good geographical knowledge and strong professional standards
- Ability to carry out manual entries on a digital tachograph card
- Willingness to complete a DBS security check
- Successful completion of a site assessment and induction before first shift
