WHAT'S THE JOB?
This is proper driving work. You'll be completing business-to-business deliveries across the UK, typically making 2-3 drops per day. No store deliveries. No dragging pallets around. No turning up expecting to drive and ending up auditioning for Britain's Strongest Man. Just straightforward HGV1 work, long-distance runs and nights out.
Your Typical Week: 2-3 deliveries per day Long-distance runs 1-4 nights out per week Monday to Friday working pattern Average 9-hour shifts Plenty of motorway miles The kind of work where you can get settled in, crack on with the job and enjoy being behind the wheel.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED Valid HGV1 (C+E) Licence Driver CPC Qualification Card Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 2 years' HGV1 experience Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations No more than 6 penalty points Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude Happy with regular nights out
