Job Title - HGV 1 (C+E) Driver

Location: Swindon

Salary: £20.53ph to £23.44ph

Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail, the UK\'s designated Universal Postal Service Provider, to recruit HGV 1 (C+E) drivers to work out of their Distribution Centre based in Swindon.

As an HGV driver you will be required to trunk parcels and mail between depots across the Royal Mail Network. There is very little manual work, and shifts are offered 1 week in advance!

We have competitive pay rates and an array of start times and days available to suit.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Have a valid HGV 1 licence and held for a minimum of 2 years with 6 months commercial experience due to insurance purposes.
  • Valid CPC and Digital tachograph card are essential.
  • No more than 5 penalty points on licence for minor endorsements (No DD/DR/IN/CD or TT endorsements are accepted)
  • Excellent geographical knowledge and a professional attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of WTD and driver hours
  • Fully comfortable completing manual entries on your digital tachograph card.
  • Due to the nature of our client\'s business, you will be required to clear a DBS security check following the point of registration.
  • Successful completion of site assessment and induction will be required before first shift
