This role involves delivering and collecting goods throughout London and the surrounding areas, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out deliveries and collections across London and the surrounding areas.
- Complete multi-drop deliveries while working to planned routes and schedules.
- Load and unload the company van safely and securely.
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Maintain delivery paperwork, PODs (Proof of Delivery), and vehicle records.
- Provide professional, friendly customer service at every delivery.
- Keep the company vehicle clean, organised, and roadworthy.
- Follow all road safety, transport, and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Maximum of 3 penalty points.
- Previous experience as a Van Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi Drop Driver, Courier Driver, 3.5T Driver, or similar driving role.
- Good knowledge of London and surrounding road networks.
- Excellent time management and route planning skills.
- Physically fit and comfortable loading and unloading goods.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
