Pertemps have an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Shunter Drivers on days to work for our client at East Midlands Gateway. As a Shunter driver, you will ensure yard movements are done correctly and support the smooth running of the operation. There is a strong possibility this role will turn permanent with our client.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours:
- 4 on 4 off days
- 06:00 to 18:00
The successful Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will:
- Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months
- Have a valid tacho and DQC card
- Previous experience as a shunter is preferred
- Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Shunter Driver will include:
- Moving trailers or units around the yard
- Ensure safety of others in the yard
You will receive:
- STD - £16.38 per hour
- OT - £24.57 per hour
