Welder (Sub Arc) Location:Livingston
Salary:£31,991 + £7,997 shift allowance (Total £39,989)
Hours:37 per week (shift rotation)
We are recruiting for an experienced Welder to join a leading manufacturing environment. Youll be part of a skilled team responsible for welding, fabrication, and repair work across plant equipment and tooling.
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out welding and fabrication repairs on presses, furnaces, machine tools, and dies

• Operate and set up Sub Arc welding equipment

• Work with a range of materials including stainless steel, titanium, and high carbon steels

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Support plant maintenance, breakdown response, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping

Requirements:

• Time-served Welder with Sub Arc welding experience

• Strong fabrication skills and experience in industrial environments

• Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions

• Knowledge of safe working practices

• Flexible approach and ability to work shifts

Desirable:

• Experience in heavy manufacturing or forging environments

• Burning/lancing experience
