Assembly Operatives (Electrical) Needed – Clevedon Location: Clevedon, North Somerset, BS21 Transport: Own transport required Pay: Weekly or monthly Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, accrued pro rata Shift Options: Condensed – Contract (34.5 Hrs) Fri–Sun: 12:30–00:30 £32.00/hr | Contract: ASAP–20th December Holiday: Accrued and paid at the end of the contract AM – Ongoing (37.5 Hrs) Mon–Thu: 06:00–14:15 Fri: 06:00–11:30 £16.35/hr | Temporary ongoing £250 gift card after 4-month probation | £500 after 12 months Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, accrued pro rata PM – Ongoing (37.5 Hrs) Mon–Wed: 14:30–00:30 Thu: 14:30–00:00 Fri: Non-working £17.77/hr | Temporary ongoing £250 gift card after 4-month probation | £500 after 12 months Holiday: 25 days + 8 bank holidays, accrued pro rata About the Role We are currently recruiting Electrical Assembly Operatives to join Edwards Vacuum in Clevedon. The company produces specialist vacuum and exhaust management systems used in the semiconductor industry. This opportunity would suit candidates from a wireman background , particularly those with hands-on experience in control panel wiring and crimping. Duties include: Electrical and mechanical assembly work Preparing and assembling wiring looms Crimping and soldering components Working from basic drawings and build instructions Assisting with general production tasks Supporting the wiring and assembly team where required What We’re Looking For Previous production or manufacturing experience Experience with wiring, crimping or soldering Ability to follow drawings or build instructions Good attention to detail Reliable, positive and practical approach to work Wireman or control panel wiring experience would be highly beneficial If you are interested in this role, please click apply now!
