Technical Claims Handler

We’re recruiting a Technical Claims Handler for a growing team managing professional indemnity claims.

If you’ve got claims experience and want to take on more responsibility while building a long-term career in PI, this could be the role for you.

Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, a 35 hour working week, with a hybrid arrangement of 2 days expected in the Bristol office.

What You’ll Do

  • Run a varied, technical caseload, investigating claims and negotiating settlements within delegated authority.
  • Advise and support insured clients and brokers, ensuring fair and efficient outcomes.
  • Manage panel solicitors and claims outside delegated authority with accuracy and commercial sense.
  • Maintain detailed records, report to insurers, and help drive continuous improvement.
  • Share knowledge and support team development through training and guidance.
