The role of Electrical Estimator:

  • Working independently or as part of a team to draft electrical tenders for upcoming commercial and modular build projects
  • Adapting existing tenders or pre-construction documents to suit changing project demands
  • Analysing and interpreting various designs and documents
  • Producing cost-effective and compliant tenders with an understanding of building regulations, HSE, and electrical building services
  • Collaborating across communication channels to problem-solve during pre-construction and tender processes
  • Attending site and client visits to expand relationships and understand upcoming projects

The ideal Electrical Estimator:

  • Existing commercial knowledge of pricing electrical building services on commercial and modular build projects
  • Working background within electrical installations/building services preferred
  • Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills

  • Ability to be client-facing with end users, supply chain members, and subcontractors
  • Strong understanding of electrical drawings and 3D scans (e.g. AutoCAD)

  • Excellent timekeeping and ability to work to deadlines
