The role of Commercial Gas Engineer:
- Attending commercial projects and call‑outs to maintain, fault‑find, service, and fix gas building services
- Carrying out installation, maintenance, and remedial work on commercial gas systems such as boilers, heat pumps, valves, and vessels
- Completing maintenance and installation tasks reliably, meeting time demands whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety and building regulations
- Communicating professionally with clients and site managers in various locations, including sensitive environments
- Working on‑call when required
The ideal Commercial Gas Engineer:
- Mechanical City and Guilds qualification to NVQ Level 2 or Level 3
- ACS Gas Certifications
- Unvented Cylinders qualification
- Experience of gas maintenance and PPM within commercial environments
- Current Enhanced DBS Check or willingness to undertake
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Customer and client‑facing experience
