The Role: Mergon Blackburn are currently hiring Machine Operators.
Hours of Work: Panama shifts; 2 weeks days/2 weeks nights working shift pattern, 6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am (5 days one week/2 days second week)
The Role/Key Responsibilities:
- Operate blow and injection moulding machines making plastic products
- Do quality inspections of the products coming off the machine
- Record accurate data of products, rejects, weights etc
- Keep your work area safe and tidy, adhering to all health and safety regulations
To be successful in this role, you will likely have:
- Previous experience operating a machine in a manufacturing/production environment
- Familiar with handheld PPE and good working knowledge of health and safety practices
- Able to work 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights where you will be working stood for long periods of time
