Our client is a leading outsourced investment office, managing $60B in assets across a diverse portfolio of endowments, foundations, investment professionals, and prominent families globally.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review and send execution instructions for private placement funds, hedge funds, UCITS, mutual funds, ETFs, equity trades, foreign exchange, futures, and direct fixed income.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of client and portfolio investment and treasury needs.
- Own various checks and controls, ensuring operational risks are minimised and processes are continually improved.
- Manage ad-hoc projects, focusing on process improvement and scalability.
- Build relationships with external custodians and brokers to ensure optimal transaction and settlement processes.
- Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold fiduciary duties.
- Act as a mentor and role model for junior team members, providing training and guidance.
- Ensure adherence to information security and data protection regulations.
Experience & Qualifications
- The Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or Investment Management Certificate (IMC) is essential.
- Experience in a similar role within financial services (e.g., private bank, middle office, settlement agency).
- Strong knowledge of major investment asset classes and relevant regulations (e.g., MIFID II, EMIR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using Bloomberg AIM or other Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Excellent attention to detail and quantitative analysis skills.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
