Multi-Asset Investment Support Manager

Our client, a mid-size Asset Manager with a unique culture and approach to investment, is looking to add to their Multi-Asset Investment Support team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Multi-Asset Investment Support in all trading and operational activities. Sitting alongside the Fund Managers, this role offers an excellent opportunity to become a specialist in Fund of Fund investing.

  • Support the Multi-Asset Investment Team in all trading activities.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports required by the team.
  • Assist the Head of Multi-Asset Investment Support with ad hoc projects.
  • Provide ongoing support to the team with non-trading activities.
  • Review and improve processes within the team.
  • Manage Aladdin for the Multi-Asset Investment Team and Support Team.
  • Oversee the completion of trades instructed by the team.
  • Manage quarterly rebalance cycles for Multi-Asset funds and portfolios.
  • Implement latest asset allocations and new investments as requested.
  • Conduct ongoing due diligence on passive/index managers in the funds and portfolios.
  • Perform operational due diligence on new investments and periodic reviews.
  • Liaise with external managers regarding new agreements and trading coordination.
  • Assist Marketing in preparing client meeting packs.
  • Demonstrate a track record in Multi-Asset Investment support with a sound understanding of Fund of Fund trading.
  • Possess working knowledge of UCITS funds and Model Portfolios.
  • Experience working across platforms.
  • Maintain industry awareness and stay updated on industry changes.
  • Understand the FCA handbook and stay current with regulatory changes.
  • Knowledge of the firm’s products and regulatory environment is expected.
  • Understand the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime and its application.
  • Strong advanced Excel skills (formulas/macros); Aladdin experience is advantageous.
