Our client, a mid-size Asset Manager with a unique culture and approach to investment is looking to add to their Multi-Asset Investment Support team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Multi-Asset Investment support in all trading and operational activities. Sitting alongside the Fund Managers this role represents an excellent opportunity to become a specialist in Fund of Fund investing.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Multi-Asset Investment Team in all trading activities.
  • Production of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports required by the Multi-Asset Investment Team.
  • Assist the Head of Multi-Asset Investment Support with ad hoc projects.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Multi-Asset Investment Team with non-trading activities.
  • Ongoing review and improvement of processes for the Multi-Asset Investment Support Team.
  • Ownership of Aladdin for the Multi-Asset Investment Team and Multi-Asset Investment Support Team.
  • MPS platform management inclusive of managing launch of new platforms.
  • Oversee completion of trades instructed by the Multi-Asset Investment Team.
  • Managing the quarterly rebalance cycle for Multi-Asset funds and portfolios.
  • Implementing latest asset allocations and any new investments requested by the Multi-Asset Investment Team.
  • Ongoing due diligence of the Passive/Index Managers held in the Multi-Asset funds and portfolios.
  • Perform operational due diligence on new investments and review periodically.
  • Liaise with external managers when entering new agreements and trading co-ordination.
  • Assist Marketing in the production of client meeting packs.

Background & Experience

  • A demonstrable track record in Multi-Asset Investment support with a sound understanding of Fund of Fund Trading.
  • Working knowledge of UCITS funds and Model Portfolios.
  • Good experience working across Platforms.
  • Have an interest in the industry and keeps up to date with industry changes.
  • Has a good level of knowledge of the FCA handbook and keeps up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Knowledge of the products offered by the firm and the importance of being a regulated firm as applicable to the role is expected.
  • A good understanding of the FCA’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime and how it applies to the role.
  • Strong Advanced Excel skills (formulas/macros); Aladdin experience is advantageous.
