Our client, a highly regarded Investment firm with circa $60Bil of AUM has a new opening for a highly motivated Associate to join the Sustainable Investing team. The Associate will support the Head of Sustainable Investing as part of the global Sustainable Investing research team. You will play a critical role in delivering the firm's Sustainable Investing strategy. The focus of this role will be on integration, which will involve understanding the responsible investment practices applicable to different asset classes and investment strategies through analysis and engagement with managers.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of third-party asset managers across all asset classes.
  • Support implementation of manager engagement strategy and associated reporting.
  • Lead development and management of internal sustainable investing tools and dashboards.
  • Manage relationships with third party data providers.
  • Support implementation and reporting of sustainable investment mandates.
  • Data analysis and presentation preparation for RfPs responses and client engagements.
  • Thematic research and analysis focused on investment relevant sustainability topics.
  • Support data collection, analysis and drafting of sustainability related reporting and disclosures including annual Sustainable Investment report, PRI, TCFD etc.

Background & Experience

  • The ideal candidate will have strong quantitative skills and an active interest in investment, capital markets and in particular Sustainable Investing.
  • It would be highly beneficial for the Associate to bring an understanding of different asset classes, such as public equities, private equity, private debt and hedge funds.
  • Approximately 3-5 years’ experience in a professional services role, ideally with a sustainability remit.
  • Active passion for, and understanding of, sustainability, investing and asset management.
  • Possess a high level of numeracy, strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, PowerBI or other analytics tools.
  • Experience of detailed and data heavy reporting writing.
