Our client, a City based global asset manager is seeking a Sales Support Associate to join their highly successful London based Business Development team. Working closely with the other members of the team this role will help source new business in EMEA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly driven candidate with approximately 2 years relevant experience who is eager to work within an investment sales support function and be part of an exceptional team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with other members of the business development team to help source new business in EMEA.
  • Trip planning for consultant and prospect meetings.
  • Organise prep-packs and materials for consultant and prospect meetings.
  • Review and provide materials, factsheets, and other investment data to prospective investors.
  • Review RFP responses as needed along with DDQs and manage the RFP process in partnership with proposal team.
  • Coordinate conference attendance, organisation, and sponsorship.
  • Coordinate internal consultant meetings and materials.
  • Manage EMEA database relationships and external vendors.
  • Assist in managing ad hoc internal projects for assigned Client Service Officers and Business Development Officers.
  • Ensure the consistency and accuracy of information stored in the customer relationship management (CRM) system including adding in any new relevant information as directed by assigned Client Service Officers and Business Development Officers.
  • Conduct competitor analysis as needed along with other ad hoc universe reporting and meeting prep/summaries for calls and meetings.
  • Review industry trends and news and share industry reports and papers.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a strong academic background.
  • Sales / Business Development experience within investment management or consultancy.
  • High levels of attention to accuracy and detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Numerate, strong negotiating skills; commercially aware.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
  • Team player, self-motivated and self-starter.
  • Professionalism in executing key tasks.
  • Quality of output and ability to take ownership and responsibilities for key tasks.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experienced with Salesforce, eVestment, Morningstar Direct.
