About the role
In this rewarding role, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of older Australians by supporting them to continue living independently in the comfort of their own homes. Every day brings the opportunity to build meaningful connections and provide practical, heartfelt support that helps clients live life to the fullest.
As part of your role, you will assist with:
- Accessing the community, including shopping, social activities, and medical appointments
- Domestic assistance in the home, such as cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, tidying, reorganising, laundry, and linen changes
- Preparing tasty and nutritious meals
- Providing companionship and social support to help clients live their best life at home
About you
You’re passionate about empowering older Australians to maintain their independence and live confidently in their own homes. You bring empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills, along with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
In addition, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Home Care Assistant is highly desired, but not essential
- A current Driver’s License
- A roadworthy vehicle registered in WA and covered by Third-Party insurance
- National Police Clearance (obtained within the last 6 months)
