We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team, providing high-quality home care services to elderly and disabled individuals in their own homes. You will play a vital role in helping our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with housing support tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and general household maintenance
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
- Provide medication prompts and ensure safe medication management
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in client condition
- Follow individual care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the care coordination team
Requirements
- SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) or willingness to work towards qualification
- Previous experience in care or support work (preferred but not essential)
- Valid PVG certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Valid driving license and access to own transport (preferred)
