Our Product Culture
Our product teams are empowered to tackle challenging problems—both customer‑related and business‑oriented—driving delight for customers and benefits for the business. We equip these teams with the necessary skills to devise solutions that are valuable, viable, usable, and feasible. While the product designer ensures usability and engineers ensure feasibility, the product manager is accountable for value and viability. This requires understanding business constraints across compliance, legal, sales, finance, and privacy, as well as maintaining a deep understanding of users, partners, market dynamics, and competitive disadvantages.
At Mercuryo, a product lead acts as a mini‑CEO. The day‑to‑day focus is setting a clear product strategy and direction, and continuously aligning the team around it. Product managers are expected to be strong communicators and rational decision‑makers, explicitly assessing value, impact, and trade‑offs when prioritising initiatives across teams. Our delivery model is built around speed of learning. We ship quickly to validate ideas in the real world, which makes the team deliberately flaw‑tolerant. Speed does not mean cutting corners. Fast delivery demands clarity. Before anything reaches development, ideas must be well thought through from both business and technical perspectives, with particular attention to reliability, compliance, and security.
About The Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of expanding our global payment integrations. You will own the strategy and execution around local APMs, bank transfer methods, and regional payout/collection flows across multiple markets. Your work will directly influence our ability to scale globally, especially in regions where local rails are essential for user conversion and operational efficiency.
Your Role
- Own end‑to‑end product lifecycle for local payment integrations (discovery → requirements → delivery → optimization).
- Lead new integrations with ACH, alternative payment methods for African and Asian countries, and other local methods needed for global expansion.
- Drive expansion of new product verticals where cryptocurrency can unlock additional value for our clients.
- Collaborate with engineering, compliance, risk, operations and commercial teams to ensure viable and compliant product delivery.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, user needs and regional payment nuances to define product priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external PSPs and payment partners.
- Collaborate closely with clients to facilitate the integration of newly launched APMs.
- Define product metrics, track performance, and iterate to improve acceptance rate, cost efficiency, and user experience.
- Ensure clear documentation, alignment of stakeholders, and smooth internal processes around your product area.
- Act as the primary product expert for your domain, supporting commercial and operational teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager in payments, fintech, crypto or related technical financial products.
- Strong expertise in local payment method integrations.
- Extensive experience leading product launches in highly regulated, high‑engagement industries.
- Experience working closely with PSPs, processors, banks or regional payment providers.
- Solid understanding of compliance, risk, fraud and operational constraints within payments.
- Ability to translate complex payment flows into clear product requirements.
- Strong analytical and technical mindset, capable of diving into payment logic, API behaviour and operational dependencies.
- Excellent cross‑functional communication skills.
- Ownership mindset, ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast‑moving environment.
What We Offer
- Competitive market rate salary and performance‑based incentives.
- 22 days annual leave with an additional 6 company days, plus bank holidays.
- Comprehensive health insurance plans.
- Extensive benefits program.
- Flexible work schedule and remote work options.
- Modern offices and co‑working spaces across 6 countries.
- Working equipment.
- Professional development and training opportunities.
- Opportunity to shape the initiatives you’re working on.
- Diverse and friendly team. We are open-minded to new ideas.
