About The Role
We are looking for a Head of Onboarding to lead our KYC and KYB teams, ensuring high performance and accountability across our global operations. In this role, you will own the full onboarding lifecycle for individuals and businesses, managing complex structures and ensuring strict alignment with regulatory requirements in the crypto sector. You will act as the onboarding authority, driving continuous improvement and balancing speed, risk, and commercial needs to support our business growth.
Your Role
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, manage, and develop KYC and KYB teams, ensuring high performance and accountability. Set clear expectations, SLAs, and quality standards across onboarding operations. Actively coach team leads and specialists to drive accuracy, ownership, and growth. Ensure appropriate coverage across time zones with flexible and adaptive team structures.
- KYC & KYB Operations: Own the full onboarding lifecycle for individuals and businesses. Ensure accurate review of complex KYB structures, including corporate entities, UBOs, shareholders, and directors, as well as multi‑jurisdictional and layered ownership structures. Maintain high attention to detail while balancing speed, risk, and commercial needs.
- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Ensure onboarding processes are fully aligned with regulatory requirements across crypto. Work closely with Compliance and Legal on regulatory interpretation, policy updates, and entity‑specific requirements. Maintain strong governance, documentation, and audit‑ready processes.
- Process, Quality & Execution: Design, improve, and enforce onboarding processes and workflows. Drive continuous improvement with a strong execution mindset. Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and act decisively to resolve them. Ensure all processes are clearly documented and consistently followed.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Product, Sales, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Operations. Support business growth while maintaining regulatory integrity. Act as the onboarding authority in internal discussions and decision‑making.
