Guillotine Operator – Late Shift | Print | Essex | Up to £33k
This print and production company specialises in creating a wide variety of high-quality materials, from everyday essentials such as flyers and business cards to more detailed projects like brochures, booklets, and large-format graphics. Known for quick turnaround times and attention to detail, the business supports both direct customers and trade resellers who depend on consistent quality and reliable delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Setting up, operating and maintaining guillotine finishing equipment such as Polar 115/137 or similar
- Producing accurate, high-quality work with a strong focus on precision and finish
- Keeping on top of production schedules and ensuring workflow runs smoothly
- Carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance to keep machines in top condition
- Identifying and fixing minor issues, or escalating where required
Key attributes required:
- Have previous experience in print finishing or operating guillotine machines
- Possess good attention to detail and take pride in the finished product
- Are able to work independently and as part of a team
- Can maintain consistency under pressure and meet tight deadlines
