Responsibilities:
- Designing innovative corrugated packaging solutions from customer briefs using an AG CAD table, ensuring functionality, quality, and manufacturability.
- Producing and sampling prototypes, supporting small production runs and approving first-time runs to maintain high standards.
- Presenting and collaborating with customers, sales teams, and management to refine designs and deliver efficient outcomes.
- Ordering and coordinating print stereos and die-cut formes, setting up products on the ERP system, and receiving and checking materials for accuracy.
- Maintaining and developing a strong understanding of company capabilities, emerging technologies, and materials to continuously enhance design performance.
Key attributes required:
- Strong experience with constructional design, ideally within corrugated or packaging environments.
- Confident in engaging directly with customers and presenting design solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
