Purpose of Role To expertly weld components of products in accordance with layouts, drawings, diagrams, work orders, welding procedures, or verbal instructions, ensuring high-quality and precise fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform coded welding using TIG and MAG Solidwire techniques.
- Produce multi-layer fillet welds and single-side full penetration V butt welds that meet NDT acceptance criteria.
- Maintain welding production control in compliance with BS EN ISO1090-2 Structural Steel standards.
- Interpret and apply welding symbols accurately.
- Follow welding procedures and instructions meticulously.
- Participate in a full-time role with consistent attendance and reliability.
Interview Task Candidates will be asked to demonstrate relevant fabrication skills during the interview, which may include:
- Notching a beam and attaching plates.
- Cutting a hatch into a section of tubing.
- Marking out on tube and plate.
Additional Requirements Compliance with company Drug and Alcohol policy, including testing.
Work Schedule 8-hour shifts Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am β 4:30 pm Friday: 8:00 am β 2:30 pm 38-hour workweek.
