An established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor is looking to recruit two Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of long-term clean water and wastewater frameworks across the South East. Working as part of a growing commercial team, you'll report directly to a Senior Quantity Surveyor and support the delivery of projects including pipeline installations, pumping stations, utility infrastructure and associated civil engineering works. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to develop their career within the water sector while gaining exposure to major framework contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple projects from award through to final account.
  • Preparing and submitting applications for payment.
  • Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and variations.
  • Administering NEC contracts and compensation events.
  • Supporting monthly CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.
  • Managing change control and maintaining contractual compliance.
  • Assisting with risk and opportunity management throughout project delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure or water sectors.
  • Good understanding of NEC contracts.
  • Experience with commercial reporting, valuations, variations and subcontract management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

  • Water industry experience (clean water or wastewater).
  • Pipeline, pumping station, treatment works or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working on framework contracts.
