Overview
We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy delivering infrastructure and water projects across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work (including AMP8 frameworks), they are looking to appoint a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Newcastle team.
The Role
You will be involved in the delivery of civil engineering projects across the full lifecycle, from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Civil design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects
- Working across drainage, utilities, and general infrastructure design
- Supporting project delivery from concept through to construction
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
- Leading technical delivery on projects
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers
Requirements
- Experience in civil engineering design (water, infrastructure, or utilities)
- Background in a consultancy or contractor environment
- Strong technical understanding of infrastructure design
- Ability to manage and deliver projects or work packages
- Working towards or achieved chartership (ICE or equivalent preferred)
