Phase 1 consists of approximately 140 sites, followed by a further 141 sites in Phase 2, with additional work planned over the following 18 months. This is a hands-on site-based role managing electrical works carried out predominantly during night-time shutdown periods. You will work alongside an Electrician, with a two-person team allocated to each site.
The Role
- Take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of works on site, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with the agreed programme, RAMS and client requirements.

- Supervise night-time site activities and ensure safe systems of work are followed.
- Coordinate electrical isolation and dead-working activities.
- Support the connection and disconnection of generators.
- Oversee the relocation of CTs.
- Installation of associated tray work and COP boxes.
- Ensure all works are completed safely and to the required quality standard.
- Manage site documentation, briefings and daily records.
- Liaise with the project team and client representatives.
- Ensure sites are left safe, clean and ready for handback following completion.
All primary materials required for the works will be provided.
What We're Looking For
- Valid SMSTS.
- Experience managing electrical or utility works.
- Good understanding of LV electrical installations and safe working practices.
- Experience managing works in live operational environments.
- Strong health & safety awareness.
- Ability to supervise a small delivery team independently.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide and work approximately 5 nights per week.
- Experience with LV operations, generator connection/disconnection, CT installations or multi-site electrical rollout programmes would be highly advantageous.
The Programme
The work is expected to involve approximately one site per shift, with individual site activities typically taking around 8 hours. The role offers £350–£400 per shift, with travel and accommodation covered in addition to the shift rate.
