SCAFFOLDERS REQUIRED – PLYMOUTH NAVAL BASE
MHR Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced Scaffolders for an ongoing opportunity based at Plymouth Naval Base. We are looking for reliable and experienced Scaffolders across all levels:
- PAY RATES
- Advanced Scaffolder – £28.00 per hour
- Part 2 Scaffolder – £25.00 per hour
- Part 1 Scaffolder – £20.00 per hour
Lodge allowance available for eligible candidates.
THE ROLE
You will be working within a busy naval/industrial environment, carrying out the erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding to provide safe access for a range of trades. Duties will include:
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
- Building access scaffolds, working platforms, towers and temporary structures
- Installing scaffold around vessels, buildings, pipework, machinery and other industrial areas
- Modifying and adapting existing scaffolds as required
- Working to site instructions, drawings and relevant scaffold specifications
- Carrying out visual checks and reporting any defects or safety concerns
- Working safely alongside other trades and site personnel
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all site, health & safety and naval base security procedures
Advanced Scaffolders may also be required to lead teams and undertake more complex scaffold structures.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant CISRS Scaffolding qualification – Part 1, Part 2 or Advanced
- Previous industrial/commercial scaffolding experience
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications and certifications must be provided
