This is an opportunity for a commercially capable QS with experience working for a specialist subcontractor to take responsibility for projects from interim valuations through to final account.

The Role

  • Preparing monthly valuations and applications for payment
  • Assessing, pricing and submitting variations

The Candidate

You should have previous Quantity Surveying experience within a specialist subcontracting business. Experience within façades, cladding, curtain walling, glazing or building envelope would be advantageous, but candidates from other specialist subcontracting sectors will also be considered. You will need practical experience of valuations, variations, cost management and final accounts, together with working knowledge of JCT and/or NEC subcontract environments. A relevant higher-education Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent is essential.

The expected working pattern is approximately two days per week in Southam, two days on a West London project and one day working from home. Candidates therefore need to be comfortable travelling regularly between both locations.
