About the Role
We are seeking 60 experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our project team based in Corby starting January 2026. This large-scale project involves the installation of high-volume conveyor systems within a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Mechanical installation of conveyor systems and associated equipment.
- Technical Literacy: Reading and interpreting detailed technical drawings and blueprints.
- Assembly: Precise assembly alignment and fitting of mechanical components.
- Tool Usage: Proficient use of hand tools, power tools and lifting equipment.
- Teamwork: Collaborating with a large crew to hit strict project milestones.
- Safety: Strict adherence to all on-site health and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven background as a Mechanical Fitter (conveyor installation or heavy industrial project experience is highly preferred).
- Certification: CCNSG Safety Passport (Accepted). Green CSCS and EMSS are not accepted on this site.
- Efficiency: Ability to work safely and productively to meet deadlines.
- Equipment: Own tools are preferred though not essential.
- Availability: Must be ready to start on-site in Corby by January 2026.
