About the Role
We are a well-established engineering company looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Service Coordinator to join our growing team. Based in Manchester, this is a varied and fast-paced role where you'll be responsible for coordinating engineers, scheduling service appointments, and ensuring excellent customer service from enquiry through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our service operations and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and engineers. Occasional travel to the Midlands will be required, so flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate engineer appointments efficiently.
- Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email with a professional and friendly approach.
- Process purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain customer records using the company's CRM system.
- Prepare service reports and administrative documentation.
- Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth service delivery.

- Experienced in a Service Coordinator, Service Administrator, or similar scheduling role.
- Confident using CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Experienced in processing purchase orders and producing reports.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Able to prioritise workload and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Willing to travel occasionally to the Midlands as required.
