This Could Be the Role That Defines Your Career
You’ve spent years building your expertise. You can talk tolerances, runout and clamping force with engineers, then pivot to margins and ROI with the FD. You’ve earned results, not just a salary.
The Opportunity
A world-leading precision engineering manufacturer is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to take full ownership of a high-value territory covering the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber. The UK market is a key growth area for this business, with significant investment ongoing through 2026 and beyond. This role is a crucial part of this expansion.
This is a strategically important territory with an established customer base, a strong product reputation, and significant untapped potential. The groundwork has been laid. What’s missing is the right person to capitalise on it.
The Company & Products
Headquartered in Europe, with around 1000 employees globally. One of the European market leaders in its category and a genuine worldwide authority in its field. Long-term thinking, high standards, and genuine investment in people define the culture here.
You’ll represent a portfolio of high-precision products (tool holders, balancing and presetting equipment) regarded as best-in-class by the engineers who use them daily. Selling a product you believe in, to customers who already respect the brand, changes the nature of every conversation.
The Role
Based from home, you’ll manage your own diary across one of the UK’s most active manufacturing regions, working with aerospace, automotive, defence and precision engineering companies. You’ll inherit existing relationships and real momentum, with full onboarding support before taking the reins independently.
What You’ll Bring
- Deep knowledge of tool clamping and milling technology
- 10-15 years of technical sales experience with a track record you’re proud of
- Confidence in installations and imparting knowledge of operating the machinery
- The confidence to operate at a high level with expert, demanding customers
- Entrepreneurial instinct. You don’t need to be managed, you need to be unleashed
If you’ve been in technical sales long enough to know the difference between a good role and a great one. This is a great one.
