We are urgently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a busy, fast-paced project at a major automated logistics and distribution site in Kettering. In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping the site safe, organised, and operating efficiently. You will be supporting skilled trades, engineers, and site managers during the critical phases of this installation project. Key Responsibilities

  • Site Maintenance: Keeping the work environment clean, tidy, and free of hazards to ensure the safety of all site personnel.
  • Material Handling: Unloading deliveries, organising stock, and safely moving construction/installation materials and equipment across the site.
  • Assisting Teams: Providing general assistance to site managers, mechanical/electrical installers, and other tradesmen as required.
  • Waste Management: Clearing debris and safely disposing of site waste in the designated skips/areas.
  • Health & Safety: Strictly adhering to site health, safety, and compliance regulations at all times.

What We Are Looking For

  • Valid CSCS Card: Essential for access to the site.
  • Experience: Previous experience working as a labourer on a construction, engineering, or industrial fit-out site.
  • Physical Fitness: The role involves heavy lifting, manual handling, and being on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctual, and able to commit to the full 5/6-week duration of the contract.
  • PPE: Must have your own standard Personal Protective Equipment (Hard hat, high-vis vest, and steel-toe capped boots).
